We are very grateful to people and organisations who make donations to RMNS from time to time.

Thank you so much to Carshalton Choral Society for a generous gift of £400. This was part of the money raised for local charities at the their annual family carol concert last year. We really appreciate the support we receive from local organisations to help us improve the lives of the people we serve.

On Sunday 8 November last year The Church of the Good Shepherd in Carshalton Beeches presented us with a cheque for £2,800 from their annual Harvest Festival collection.
The church decided to give part of last year’s harvest offering to RMNS in light of the ongoing refugee crisis. Hundreds of thousands of refugees have fled Syria and entered Europe via dangerous routes, arriving with few resources. The UK government has pledged to accept 20,000 Syrian refugees over the next four years and some of these may settle in Sutton.
We are incredibly grateful for this generous donation.

We were also delighted that in 2015 four Year 9 students from Carshalton High School for Girls, Habiba, Aya, Krysta-Jo and Jasmine, chose to support us as part of the school’s GiveFirst event. This national programme aims to stimulate an interest in voluntary work among young people. They won a place in the final evening presentations which Olwen and Lorri attended and they spoke with great enthusiasm about RMNS. We had enjoyed meeting them when they visited the Drop-In; how great to have a new generation of supporters who plan to carry on fundraising for us!
